DISTRIBUTION
Indian Ocean.

In colour this species is characterised by the dark blackish lines, usually diagonal, and the yellowish patches between. The background colour of the body has a bluish or purplish tinge, the rhinophores are orange red and the gills, triangular in cross-section are edged with the same colour. Other species with black lines include Hypselodoris nigrolineata, Hypselodoris maritima, Hypselodoris kanga and Hypselodoris zephyra.
